Camila Cabello Bio

Karla Camila Cabello Estrab Spanish born March 3, 1997) is a Cuban-born American singer and songwriter. She rose to prominence as a member of the group called Fifth Harmony, formed on The X Factor USA in 2012 after signing an agreement to record together with Syco Music and Epic Records. In Fifth Harmony, Cabello began to establish herself as a solo artist with the release of the collaborations "I Know What You Did Last Summer" featuring Shawn Mendes, and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the latter reaching number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. Cabello quit Fifth Harmony in 2016 and released a number of collaborations, such as "Hey Ma" with Pitbull and J Balvin, for The Fate of the Furious soundtrack (2017) and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly. The album she released as her debut album as a studio artist, Camila (2018) reached number one on the Billboard 200 charts. The Latin-inspired pop album received an Platinum certificate from the Recording Industry Association of America. The album's first single, "Havana", reached the top 10 in many countries. "Never Be the Same" was the follow-up single, also made it to the top 10 in a variety of countries. Cabello's duet of 2019 "Senorita" featuring Mendes became her second top 100 hit single. Romance (2019) was her second studio album, peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 charts and at number one in Canada. Cabello is scheduled to appear in a film adaptation of Cinderella (2021), for Sony Pictures.
