  Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg (Swedish pronunciation (listen) 29 September 1931 - 11 January 2015) was an Swedish actress active in American and European films, famous for her beauty and stunning silhouette. Nicole Scherzinger, born June 29 1978 in Honolulu, was raised in Louisville. As a student at a high-school for performing arts she was a finalist in The Coca-Cola Classic Talent Contest and was in various plays at The Actors Theatre of Louisville. Then, she pursued her studies with a major in theater arts at Wright State University before joining the WB's debut season of the television show Popstars (2000) in which she was the lead vocalist in the female pop group Eden's Crush.
