Tauheed Epps, better known by his professional name 2 Chainz, is a well-known American rapper and hip hop artist. A native of Georgia He started his career in music when he formed the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle, along with an old high school buddy. Their first album, titled "Supply and Demand", was a modest success. Epps released his album 'Based On the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was an enormous hit and debuted at the top spot on US Billboard 200. The album sold 147,000 copies in the initial week. He hasn't been back from the album's release and has since risen to be one of the most admired rappers in America. He has been nominated for six Grammy awards so far, out of which he has won one, for his track "No Problem". When he was discovered to be with promethazine and marijuana, he was detained aboard a plane departing Los Angeles International Airport in 2013. However, his encounters in the legal system haven't impacted his popularity. His fourth and latest studio album , 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music' was released in June 2017. 'Based on a T.R.U. Story', the debut studio album of 2 Chainz, can be considered to be his debut album, as well as the most successful album of his career. It was a big success and reached the first position on the US Billboard 200, as it sold 147,000 copies within one week. In the course of the year, it eventually sold 623,000 copies. The couple have three children together, Heaven, Harmony, Halo. He is not only a highly successful professional, but he is known for his brushes with the law.
