Rena Sherel SOFER
Rena Sherel SOFER is an American
actress. Her roles include daytime TV and episodic guest performances and
TV-produced films. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her
performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap opera General Hospital. Since 2013, she's
played Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful. Sofer was
born in Arcadia (California) to Susan Sofer and Martin Sofer. Martin Sofer is a
Conservative Rabbi. The family later moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, until,
after the divorce of her parentsSofer moved with her father and brother David
to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. However, Sofer lived in Western
Pennsylvania when she was a kid. The family was based in Ambridge Pennsylvania
where their father was director of the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She attended
the Frisch School, an coeducational Mordern Orthodox Jewish highschool in
Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer lived in North Bergen where her father was the
synagogue's Rabbi Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School,
then attended classes at Montclair State College. Sofer was the first to play
Lois Marie Cerullo at General Hospital. In 1993, she worked as a band manager.
Her first appearance on television was as Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap
hosting host. Perhaps her most well-known role is Lois Cerullo, a nurse on
General Hospital from December 15 the 24th of September 1993 to September 24
1997. Later, she was an actor on the show (February 7-17, 1997 September 30th
to October 2nd , 1997). Her portrayal of the outrageous Lois won Sofer a
Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for Best Supporting Actress in the Drama Series.
Sofer has joined CBS's soap-opera The Bold and the Beautiful as Quinn Fuller, a
role she created just. The first episode premiered in July 2013. Sofer has been
a guest actor or guest in a number of prime-time television showslike Seinfeld
and Melrose Place. She has also been a guest on The Chronicle, Ed and Friends.
Her first episode aired on July 12.
