Genesis Rodriguez
Genesis Rodriguez was born in Miami,
Florida. She is the daughter of Jose Luis El Puma' Rodriguez (the famous
Venezuelan actor and singer) as well as Carolina Perez (a Cuban-model). She has
two half-sisters. She studied at the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart in
Miami. Rodriguez knew as a child she wanted to be an actor. She attended summer
classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and continued to train
in acting. Rodriguez was a regular on Spanish language television series, including
Dame Chocolate (2007), Dona Barbara (2008) and Prisionera (2004). She also
played Sarah in the popular show "Entourage" (2004). Man on a Ledge
(2012) and What to Expect When you're expecting (2012) are some of her film
projects. Daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez. Half-sister of Liliana
Rodrigo and Lilibeth Moillo. On The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (January
9, episode in 2013) she stated that her name was Genesis in honor of the
British rock group Genesis. She is from Venezuelan and Cuban descent. The best
thing is living in the ocean. If the acting thing doesn't work I'd put it on my
resume for NBA.com. I am a big basketball enthusiast. . . I'll be talking about
all kinds of trash. I feel like I represent the new generation of Latinos. I'm
bilingual and multicultural. I'm aware that I can't eat whatever I want and
have the appearance I want and therefore you must do your best. I'm grateful to
Pilates as well as my parents' great genes. It's one of the most bonding
experiences that you can get. I love people who are willing to take chances. I
admire those who are willing to risk it all in the ring. Charlize Thon is one
of my favorites. She's stylish and sophisticated I like her. I love Zoe
Saldana.
